Silver Solder Sheets are used for hard (torch) soldering only.

Silver Solder Sheets are available in four different types: Extra Easy, Easy, Medium and Hard. 

These terms are used to describe the relative temperature flow points between one type of solder:

Extra Easy: has a lower flow point than easy and is 5 DWT.

Easy: has a lower flow point than medium and is 5 DWT.

Medium: has a lower flow point than hard and is 5 DWT.

Hard: has the highest flow point and is 5 DWT.
